With a Spanish name that translates as “the little candle lights of Cerrillos,” this nonprofit group of residents strives to make Cerrillos a brighter place through charitable collections and distributions to projects or activities benefiting the communities of Cerrillos and surrounding areas. Its goal is to preserve history while paving the way bring Cerrillos into the future.

Over the years, the group has founded a historical society to place plaques on significant buildings; launched neighborhood watch programs; removed graffiti; coordinated with movie companies filming in the area; and worked with the State, the County and neighboring towns to ensure that the area can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
